The mural above is a collaboration between
Douglas Hoekzema (known as Hoxxoh) and Colombian artist
Stinkfish. I found this on a side street near Wynwood Walls in Miami during a layover to Montevideo, Uruguay back in July 2016. I have been looking back through my photos, creating a new photo book from my travels over the years. I thought it would be good to get some inspiration from art I have seen in recent months.
I made another work by Stinkfish my cover photo for the book (see my
Street art Vienna post from December 2015). Hoxxoh's work can be found in Washington DC as part of the
PowWowDC set of photos I captured in June 2016.
